Regner feierte 2008 sein 30 jähriges Firmenjubiläum. Wie ich aus eigener Erfahrung weis legt Regner großen Wert auf Kundenbetreuung. Die Maschinen sind von außergewöhnlicher Qualität und gehören zur Spitzenklasse. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Neben Echtdampflokmodellen und Lokbausätzen, sowie Zubehör für Gartenbahnen sind Fertigmodelle und Bausätze für Modellschiffsdampfantriebe und Fertigmodelle und Bausätze für Dampfmaschinen und Kessel erhältlich.

Besonders das große Angebot an Armaturen, Material, Werkzeugen und Kleinteilen läßt kaum einen Wunsch offen. Der Katalog ist voller wertvoller Hinweise und die Bedienungsanleitungen sind sogar für Nichttechniker verständlich.

Ich stelle Regner fast auf eine Stufe mit Stuart und das heißt schon was, gelten Stuart Maschinen doch als der Mercedes unter den Modelldampfmaschinen. Vielleicht gebe ich Regner sogar ein paar Pünktchen mehr, denn man bekommt alles in metrischen Maßen und man hat bei Problemen schnelle, kompetente Hilfe zur Verfügung.

Ich möchte noch eine komplette Regner Dampfanlage um eine Primus oder Neptun Maschine mit allem Schnickschnack zusammenbauen im Verlauf der Jahre. Außerdem hätte ich gerne noch eine Regner Dampflok mit ein paar Gleisen und ein paar Wagen für den Garten. Vielleicht wäre eine Lumber Jack das Richtige.

The engines are of extrardinary quality und belong to the best money can buy. Strictly speaking Regner products are no toysbut Hobby items and do therefore have their price.

Regner makes live steam scale locomotives, locomotive kits accesories for garden railways. They also make steam engines and steam engine kits, boilers and kits, boat engines, stationary engine kits.

The catalogue offers a complete range of fittings, tubes, tools, valves and accessories and is full of useful hints even for a technical layman.

I think Regner is as good as Stuart and that really means something is Stuart after all the Mercedes of hobby steam. As a German I prefer Regner for the cause that the measurement is all metric and not imperial and one gets support from Regner at once if needed.

I want to build a Regner steam plant around a Primus or a Neptun engine with all the bells and whistles. The project may need some years to accomplish. In addition I want to have a Regner loco, some tracks and rolling stock for the garden. I think a Lumber Jack Loco with some timber waggons would be fine.
