Das Kraftwerk ist meine erste "echte" Dampfanlage. Recht klein und handlich, aber doch sehr anspruchsvoll und vor allem gasbetrieben. Ich hatte ganz schön Bammel vor der Gasfeuerung, aber im Ende stellte sich heraus, dass die Sache recht einfach ist wenn man methodisch vorgeht. Kesselspeisung (mit Speiseflasche) und ein regelbarer Verdrängungsöler waren auch Neuland
Das Krarftwerk ist häufig gelaufen seit ich es habe. Mittlererweile habe ich die Bedienung ganz gut im Griff. Probleme habe ich nach wie vor mit der Wasserstandsanzeige vermittels Glasröhrchen. Ich erkenne schwer wie der tatsächliche Wasserstand ist. Da stehe ich nicht alleine, wiel das kleine Glasröhrchen eine Art Kapillareffekt erzeugt. Um dem zu begegnen bräuchte man ein Ausgleichsventil
Mein Brenner pfiff erbärmlich beim Betrieb, aber nach einem Anruf bei Herr Regner konnte das Problem beseitigt werden. Der Brenner mußte nur leicht nach unten gebogen werden.
The Steam plant is my first live steam or hobby steam engine. She is small and handy but rather demanding for a toy steamer. She has gas firing and I have been worried about that. In the end the handling of the gas burner proved to be rather easy if following the instructions to the letter. Boiler feeding (with feed bottle) and an adjustable displacement oiler also were virgin soil to me.
Since I have the power plant it has been steamed very often. Now I have the engine under control and can enjoy running her without worrying about my ignorance. There are still problems with the water gauge. It is hard to see the water level. With that i am not alone. The small glas pipe provides some capillary action and is missing a drain valve to counter that.
The gas burner produced a pitched noise. That was easy to solve after a phone call with Mr. Regner himself. The burner had to be bent slightly downward and that was that.
Die Maschine ist sehr leistungsstark für ihre Größe. Bei 3bar Betriebsdruck und der ausgezeichneten Verarbeitung ist das kein Wunder, aber wenn man nur Spielzeugdampfmaschinen kennt ist es dann doch überraschend.
Die Maschine treibt einen Generator an. Man kann von den zwei Buchsen Strom abnehmen und beliebige verbraucher antreiben.
Wenn ich an das Kraftwerk denke ist mein erster Gedanke immer: "Die gebe ich nicht mehr her."
The engine is very powerful for her size. It should be no miracle because the boiler has 3bar working pressure and the engine is of superb qulity. For someone who is used to steam toy engines the performance is astonishing however.
The engine drives a small generator. There are plug sockets to connect the generator with whatever current consumer at hand.
If the engine returns to my mind (which is quite often) the first thought is: "I will never ever give her away!"
