Den "Tourer" habe ich von "Forrest Classics". Ein wunderschönes Dampfauto von Mamod. Natürlich in "English Racing Green". Es sieht sehr edel aus und läuft auch recht gut. Gesteuert wird mit einer Stange, mit der man ins Lenkrad eingreifen kann. Der Antrieb erfolgt durch einen Einzylinder "Oszi" und dann durch Antriebsspiralen und Schwungrad. Also kein verstecktes mechanisches Getriebe, sondern eine Art Riemenuntersetzung.Am Cylinder befindet sich ein kombinierter Laufrichtungs-, Dampfsteuerhebel.
Bei schönem Wetter läuft das Auto öfter im Schlosspark und zieht jedes Mal eine Menge Zuscauer an.
The "Tourer" I got from Forest Classics. A beautiful Mamod steam car as can bee seen. Of course I wanted to have the car painted in English racing green. It looks really classy and is a rather good runner. The car is teered by a rod that can be clipped to the steering wheel. The car is driven by a single cylinder oscillating engine fixed to the left side. The power transmission is carried out vie flywheel and drive springs. there is no mechanical gear. The reduction functions by belt transmisson. A combined reverse / steam valve lever is fixed to the cylinder-
When the weather is fine the car often is steamed at the local manor park. That always attracts a small crowd of spectators because toy steaming is a rare hobby in Germany.

Perfektes Teil. Einzig die fummelige Plazierung der Brennstoffschale stört etwas den Genuß.Die Kabelfernsteuerung von Wilesco kann angepaßt werden und erleichtert das Steuern für größere Leute wie mich ungemein.
A nearly perfect steam model. Only the fiddly handling of the burner tray sometimes interferes with pure enjoiment. The bowden cable steering for Wilesco TEs and SRs can be adapted and makes steering far more comfortable. especially for taller persons.
