Die TE1a hbe ich von einem kleinen, aber feinen Ebay-Shop bekommen. Der Dampftraktor ist wunderschön, vielleicht meine schönste Dampfmaschine. Viele Zusatzteile sind montiert, wie ein Wassereimer, ein Schornsteinaufsatz aus Messing, Frontlampen und vieles mehr. Die Maschine ist auch anders lackiert worden und sieht einfach "edel" aus. Gesteuert wird mit einer Stange, die in den Schornstein eingeschraubt wird. Der Antrieb erfolgt durch einen Einzylinder "Oszi" und ist umsteuerbar vorwärts - rückwärts.
Im ersten Teil des Videos läuft die Maschine nur ein, ist also "aufgebockt". Im zweiten Teil dreht sie dann ihre Runden. Im Keller, wegen dem Wetter.
The TE1a I got from a small ebay shop. The TE is a beauty. Maybe she is the most beautiful engine I have. There are a lot of special attachments as e.g. a bucket, a brass chimney cover, headlights and more. The TE is painted in a non standart colour ad together with the brass accesories it looks marvelous.The TE is steered by a steering rod that is screwed to the front axle through the chimney. The steam engine is an oscillating single cylinder. The aggregate can be reversed by a combined reverse / steam valve lever.
The first part of the video show stationary trials and running in. The second part shows the TE running at the basement because of the bad weather.

In der Kesselrückwand ist eine Wasserstandsschraube. Das ist ein Anzeichen dafür das die Ausgangsmaschine etwas ölter war.
The boiler rear is fitted with a water plug. That indicates that the TE is older.
Einfach eine Schönheitskönigin. Einen Wasserstandsanzeiger gibt es übrigends nicht. Man nimmt die Wasserstandsschraube in der Rückwand des Kessels heraus und füllt durch das ausgescraubte Sicherheitsventil solange Wasser auf bis es dort herausläuft. Dann alles wieder verschrauben, fertig.
Sie läuft recht ordentlich und macht einigen Spaß. Eine Befeuerung mit Gas oder Spiritus ist nicht zu empfehlen, um die Farbe der Feuerbüchse zu erhalten.

She is a beauty, isn´t she?. There is no wtaer gauge. One can unscrew the water plug at the boiler rear, fill in water until it shows at the hole and screw the plug in again.
She runns wekk and provides a lot of fun. Firing with gas or meth should be avoided to preserve the paint job on the fire box.
