The D14 is an ebay win. She is the only "overtype" Wilesco produces. That means the steam unit is built on top of the boiler.
The engine has been steamed not often an can be called new. She is running very smooth without vibrations. She is a long-distance runner, steaming for about 25 minutes not counting the time to built up sufficent steam pressure with four pieces of Esbit.
She is a very satisfying engine. The whistle is not well placed and difficult to handle but that is only a minor problem. One of the better new Wilescos. I like her but do not love her.
The cylinder is of the same type as in D10, D15 and all Wilesco Mobiles.
