The D16 is an ebay win. She is about 40 years old and had been restorated to 1a condition by the seller. Quality and running are premier Leaque for steam toy-engines. The new Wilescos ar not able to hold a candle to her. Not to be seen (underside of the base) is that she has a grey base. If you are looking for a top Wilesco look for an old one with grey base.
I use a refillable preheating meth-burner to fire her up. That cuts costs and is clean. She is one of the best runnuing, if not the best running Engine I own. She was not a bargain but she is worth every cent.

A very powerfull engine witch is easy to control with the steam valve. She is the "workhorse" if power is needed and I have not the time to set up my D22 or my D24.
