Die D14 habe ich aus Ebay. Die einzige Maschine des "Übertypes", also mit dem Aggregat auf dem Kessel aufgebaut, die Wilesco herstellt.
Die Maschine ist recht neu und gut in Schuß. Sie läuft sehr ruhig und nahezu ohne Vibationen. Außerdem läuft sie sehr lange für eine Esbit beheizte Maschine. Mehr als 30 Minuten und das Anheizen bis zum Dampf aufmachen ist nicht einmal mitgerechnet.
The D14 is an ebay win. D14s are the only "overtype" Wilesco offers.
The engine dates from era VI and is in very good condition. She also ist a smooth and excellent runner. With the big boiler she is able to steam for more than 30 minutes not counting the time needed to heat her up.
Sehr zufriedenstellende Maschine. Die Platzierung der Dampfpfeife ist etwas störend. man kommt schlecht an den Ventilhebel heran, gleich wie man die Pfeife dreht, aber das ist nebensächlich bei den guten Laufeigenschaften. Eine der besseren neuen Wilescos die ich besitze. Vielleicht besinnt man sich doch wieder mehr auf Qualität.
Der schiebergesteuerte Zylinder ist von der gleichen Bauart wie der, der D10, der D15 und aller Wilesco Mobile.
A very satisfying engine and a rather powerful engine too. The steam whistle is not well placed. The steam whistle lever is difficult to activate but that is a minor fault considering the excellent steaming qualities. One of the better quality new Wilescos I own. Maybe Wilesco will find back to old merits.
The fixed cylinder is the same as the cylinder in D10, D15 and all Mobiles.
