D001 "Lukas"

Die D001 ist ein Echtdampf-Lokomotivenbausatz im Maßstab 1:22,5 für Spurweite IIG 45mm. Die Kesselheizung erfolgt mit Gas.

Sie ist nach der Tenderlok Nr. 23 der Firma Jung von 1917 nachempfunden, die für die Pillkallener Kleinbahn AG gebaut wurde. Später kam sie zur Spreewaldbahn und er hielt die Nummer 09-27. Das Modell zeigt den Zustand bei der Spreewaldbahn.

Die Maschine gab es nur als Bausatz aus Zinkdruckguss mit fotogeäzten Schildern aus Neusilber. Die Maschine war kein kommerzieller Erfolg und wird nicht mehr produziert. Sie ist schwer zu bekommen und kostet selbst gebraucht 1000,-€ und mehr. Neu hat sie 1269,-€ gekostet.

The D001 is a live steam model locomotive in scale 1:22.5 for IIG (45mm) gauge. The boiler is heated by a gas burner.

She is a copy of a tank engine that was built by the company of Jung in 1917 for the Pillkallener Kleinbahn AG (local railway company in East Prussia) where she had the number 23. Later she came to the Spreewaldbahn (near cottbus in Middle Germany) and got the number 09-27. The model is in the condition as the engine was used by the Spreewaldbahn.

The model was availlable only as kit. She was made mostly from zinc diecast. The signs were made of foto etched nickel silver. The model was a commercial failure and is out of production. As there were only a few (1000?) produced she is hard to come by and she is very expensive. Even a useld model goes for 1000,-€ and even more. New she cost 1269,-€
